OMG Michelle!!! Are you kidding me??? Please take every GOOD thing i have EVER said about your work and multiply it by a thousand!!! EVERYTHING about this photo just SINGS, and your handling of lighting is BEYOND MASTERFUL.

Truly, you have no need of art school, or photo classes. I have a BFA and an MFA and had my own commercial photo studio for ten tears. I know the business. You are ready to open your own commercial studio right now.

To your parents i say - Invest in Michelle! Save the thousands of dollars you would pay a university and use it to set Michelle up with her own photo studio. She can take a few business classes to help with that side of things. Or get a job as a photo assistant in a commercial studio for one year, just to learn the business side of it.
Then open her own studio. Your daughter is an EXCEPTIONAL talent.

And to any DA reader who might complain that this does not qualify as a "critique" - bite me.
