Tekken: Lili Rochefort by michellemonique Tekken: Lili Rochefort by michellemonique

Lili Rochefort Series
Model: Mackenzie [link]
Photographer: Michelle Monique [link]
Costume: Mom did all the sewing and I did the crafty things like straps, gloves, scarf etc.
Logo is (c) Namco

The costume took 3 months to make and I spent around 2 weeks editing this picture. I wanted to make the costume and model look exactly like the character if she was real. [link] This was the most difficult and expensive shoot yet, so I hope it was worth the wait.

So.. a lot of people are saying it looks "fake". Well, that was the point. I edited it so that it looks like a painting or rendering because that is more true to the character. [link]

This is beautiful!

I don't understand why people would complain about its "fakeness". I agree with you at that part
because that's the point of art photography. You HAVE to edit them... It's kinda hard to explain to
somebody unless they've been through the same situation.

How do you remove the background from her hair so perfectly, everytime I try to I always either loose strands of the hair or it ends up looking like a big fat clump xD

I erase most of the hair and just repaint all the strands :)
