Let me start out by saying I really love the confined series as a whole. They(The Photos) put a light on many issues in society today and although you seemed to pick this subjects for a reason, and seem to put a lot of emotion into them. They let the viewer decide what he/she thinks of the subject, what i mean is you don't impose your beliefs on the viewers. do you get what i mean?? anywho...i like this photo in particular because what started out to be just wanting to look good for others and herself has now confined her to vanity lol and her inner self is just dying to get out but her ego i so high she doesn't really even know who she is or recognizes herself. I like how you used the mirror as a prison also. so one thing i think maybe you should do next time you do something like this is the girl on the other side of the mirror should look more natural less glam and maybe more natural lighting as well. just a thought. hope this helped. my sincere regards. can't wait to see the reast of the series.
I love this photo the beautiful pinks and purples complement eachother perfectly. Her dress is so beautiful aswell. I also like how you did the lighting. Its overall a very beautiful photo.
hm, really good colours, but you forgot to take the mirror-pic in a mirror, so the make-up is on the wrong side... otherwise you could have taken a "herself" in a glass-building or cup or something like that, so it is clear that there is no reflection where everything should be on the other side. dress, model, makeup, really good
interesting... I would have liked to see a more dramatic contrast in expressions. Perhaps if the woman in the mirror remained the same, but you had the one in the foreground smiling in an evil way. Maybe even smiling and looking directly into the camera.
I've got one bad thing to say about this picture, and anything else I would say about it is good and positive. The reflection of the left hand distracts me a little bit. If that could be removed, I think it might be a nice addition to this wonderful piece.
OOh! Overall, I love it. But there is one glaring problem. When you look in a mirror you see everything backwards, so that thing on her cheek should be on the other side in the mirror. Just a hint.
This is a really clever idea, with the mirror and everything. I do have a question for you. I do know that the images are not a reflection of each other, obviously, but is the one in the mirror supposed to be a reflection? What I mean is, if it were me, I would have flipped the one in the mirror. But maybe you intended for it to be that way. If that is the case, my apologies. It is a minor issue, and it is brilliant either way.
hope this helped. my sincere regards. can't wait to see the reast of the series.
